Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard: High Performance Affordable Housing

This session will introduce attendees to the Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard which will be incorporated in projects that receive WA State Housing Trust Funds (HTF) after July 1, 2008. The genesis of the Evergreen Standard and how it will works will be explained, along with how it fits with existing green building programs. The essential areas that the standard covers will be explored as well as the user-friendly energy efficiency requirements. Attendees will walk away with the knowledge of how this standard will apply to state funded affordable housing development.
